The Great GoogaMooga Festival

A little over a week ago, SJ and I, decided to hit up GoogaMooga at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.  It was billed as a rarity in the festival world-a food festival with artists to supplement the event.

Normally, musicians headline these types of gatherings, and the food vendors spice up the experience.  Ha! Spice- get it?

Okay, so we started out with beer and chicken tenders.  SJ commented about how impossible it would be to screw these up.  Right?

I had a sip of the beer, which was okay.  I’m not a beer drinker at all though, so don’t put too much stock into my review.   The chicken tenders were flavorless.  I swear I only tasted heat and oil.

Ironically, even though the food was supposed to be the main attraction, the music was fantastic.  I mean, who doesn't love Hall and Oates??  Sara Smile stayed in my head for days afterwards.

The Technique

I parted my hair into two main halves.  The back portion was pulled into a puff, bunned, and secured with several bobby pins.
I then gathered the front portion of my hair, and swept the hair over to the left of my head.  Finally, the hair was rolled backwards, towards my ear, and pinned.
