Wedding Hair Trial 2

Here we go folks- round Abuọ(2)!

I'm eking out the last vestiges of my wash and go, which has held up admirably.

I was rummaging through my closet over the weekend, when I spotted stray blue flower petals in one of my accessory bins.  At the start of my hair journey, a bouquet of fake flowers were some of the first ornaments I bought for my hair.  I thought I'd be wearing them daily.  But, in actuality, I've only reached for them once, and some time last year, I ultimately, threw them out.

So, I was quite surprised to find leftover petals in the hair bin, and once, I took them out, I decided to incorporate them into Wedding Look 2.

The 360
The style was embarrassingly simple to do.  I almost feel like weddings, by their very nature of importance, should deserve more sophistication and complexity.  However, there is definite beauty in simplicity...
Ah!
Ruminations aside, my hair was swept over to my left and secured with a banana clip.

One of these scary looking things

My banana clip was white, but I would recommend one that doesn't stand out so starkly against your hair color.  You don't want it competing with  accessories whose purposes are to stand out.
I also added a rhinestoned pin to hold down my hair.
I pulled down the front of my bangs into a swooping manner.  Pins were placed strategically to hold down the hair, but to still allow it to look unstructured and effortless.

The flowers were the final touch.  It's really easy to over indulge and cross into tacky territory with accessories, so I forced myself to work with only four petals.  I suppose I should also mention that the flowers probably should also be white.

  1. Put them side by side so we can vote. It's hard to pick one so far.

  3. Wait o! I think i kind of prefer this one...For weddings i vote simplicity especially, when it comes to the hair...it gives off this effortless femininity.

    1. See, I'm a weird mix between over the top and understated. I gotta figure out how to set up the poll situation on blogger. I'm still an infant with all techie stuff. Lol
